Over the course of a few trips I’ve quickly come to learn what my travel essentials have been! Here is a list of items that I ALWAYS travel with!
1. Foldable Laundry Bag
I like to keep my “clean” clothes separate from my “dirty” clothes when in my luggage.
2. Shampoo Bar/Soap Bar
Travelling with bars instead of shampoo/conditioner and body wash bottles helps me with my liquid limit. I love Lush’s Sultana of Soap or Rockstar but I also have a stock from past hotels I stay at.
3. Packing Cubes
I love packing cubes they keep my luggage organized. I bought these compression packing cubes from Amazon before we went on our trip to Greece and I use them on every trip!
4. Phone Battery Pack
A phone battery pack is essential, this one is super tiny so it doesn’t take much room in my purse. It doesn’t give me a full charge but it gives my phone a boost when I need it.
5. Canon M100
I bought the Canon M100 because it was small, it had the flip screen, and allowed me the flexibility to start learning photography. When we were in Denver I was able to walk around the entire day without requiring a spare battery but did need to charge it every night. For future trips I’ll be bringing my new Olympus along!
6. Backpack
I found when we were in Greece that I really enjoyed having a backpack so in anticipation of our trips this year I bought a nicer backpack from Amazon that zips in the back (instead of the front) which helps with preventing pick pocketers.
7. Clear Re-useable Toiletry Bag
This seems like a given but having a small airport approved toiletry bag has come in handy - I usually fly carry-on so when I pass through security it’s easy for me to quickly take out all my liquids!
8. Travel Jewellery Case
I don’t travel with a ton of jewellery but I like having a safe place to put my items at the end of the day.
9. Travel Wallet
I love this wallet from Amazon for when I travel because it has room for my passport, boarding passes, cards and receipts!
10. Miscellaneous Bag
I always like having a miscellaneous bag with me to keep all my odd bits and pieces - it just helps my purse stay organized! I bought this canvas bag when we were visiting Mykonos, Greece.
